or potential fire hazard?
I can't decide.
For $1, who cares? (Except for the fire hazard part. That would suck.)
There's an estate sale in the neighborhood today, and the girls and I nabbed these plastic Christmas lights. You insert a string of tree lights in the back of the eight little houses and the church. I have no idea when they were made. '60s? '70s? Anyone? Anyone?
gulp! it's fantastic!

I kind of think so too, Tine. They're very sweet and more modern looking in person than they appear in this shot.
I realized after I wrote this post that they were sold to me in the bottom half of their original box. Unfortunately there aren't any clues about when they were made. Just directions on how to use them and how to replace a light bulb on the string of Christmas lights if one goes out. Such a sign of the times. These days people just throw out the whole strand and go buy a new one.

I think they're gorgeous too! Isn't it a fabulous feeling to find such treasures for $1?? Can't help you on the production date though. Sorry.
