Yesterday, Ohdeedoh posted some of their favorite kid-food blogs and books. I could spend hours on this topic--writing about it, but mostly reading and looking at pretty pictures of food.
Instead, I'm going to link to a few of my favorite spots for kid-food inspiration and show a few pictures of Bo making chicken and cutting pineapple in the kitchen today. It was the first time I let her use the big knife. She was quite proud.
Great kid-food sites:
I haven't gotten into making bento lunches for my kids yet, but it sure looks like fun. Especially on Flickr.
Where do you go?
Here's Bo in action:
Knife skills, age 4:
Yay for teaching kids how to properly use knives in the kitchen! <3

Woah! That knife! LOL! I have one I got from some Montessori site. Her father is scared to have her use it while I was ready a year ago. I too started early with "helping to cook" and now there is no turning back. She's five now and we get comments at large family dinner at how adept she is with her knife. Thanks for the great links.
